Introducing EntreComp: The Entrepreneurship Competence Framework

We’re excited to introduce EntreComp, a vital framework in our AI4GreenSMEs project, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in EU SMEs.

EntreComp describes entrepreneurship as a lifelong competence, focusing on the ability to act upon opportunities and ideas and transform them into value for others. This value creation can be financial, cultural, or social.

By developing competences through the creation of entrepreneurial value, EntreComp breaks down the boundaries between education, work, and civic engagement. It applies equally to formal, non-formal, and informal learning contexts, fostering entrepreneurship at all levels.
